Who is Johnathan Teuscher?
Jonathan Teuscher was born premature and diagnosed with cerebral palsy early in life. The cerebral palsy caused Jonathan to have little use of his left arm and hand and a noticeable limp when walking. JT never considered himself to be disabled and never used his physical limitation as an excuse. He was very proud of being a member of the Portville High School football and track teams.
Jonathan was a sophomore at St. Bonaventure University with a goal of a dual major in marketing and management. He worked at Top's Market in the Butcher Block. Known as Jonathan, Jon, JT or Teuscher, he loved fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He favored country music, NASCAR's Dale Jarrett and the Washington Redskins.
Jonathan died in an automobile accident.
Although Jonathan lived to only age 19, he had a tremendous impact on those who knew him. His constant smile, positive attitude, quiet determination and ability to deal with challenges inspired others to do their best.
Jonathan felt that life was about helping others. In some small way we hope to continue this positive impact through this scholarship.
